TONIGHT!

Dudamel Conducts Copland

Just as Copland’s music captured the wide-open plains of the U.S., Ginastera (who studied with Copland) fashioned a style that reflects the gaucho in the pampas of Argentina. Both epitomize music of the Americas. For this concert, Dudamel is joined by young Venezuelan-born virtuoso Sergio Tiempo for Ginastera’s riveting First Piano Concerto.
